db2db is a database client for transferring database objects (tables, their data, primary keys, foreign keys, indexes) among heterogeneous RDBMS. db2db is written in Java and uses JDBC.

The major addition to db2db in 1.2 is added flexibiliy in the transfer process. SQL is generated before a transfer is initiated, so allowing it to be verified and corrected before deciding to transfer. Datatype mapping is now done on a per-column basis. |
